Contradictory Statements in the Qur’an

The Islam religion states that the Qur’an (or Koran) represents itself as the final, infallible witness of Allah. If this statement is correct, then it should be consistent within it’s self. A surah (or suras) is a chapter in the Our’an. These two words change their spellings from one reference books to another.
How many Angels visited Mary:
1. One angel came to her. Surah 19:17-21
2. Several angels came to her. Surah 3:42,45
How long is Allah’s Day:
1. Allah’s day is equal to a thousand solar years. Surah 22:47
2. A day is 50 thousand solar years long. Surah 70:4
The number of days for creation:
1. It took Allah 6 days to create the earth. Surah 7:54; 10:3;11:7; 25:59; 32:4
2. If you add up the creation narration it took 8 days. Surah 41:9-12
Which was created first heaven or the earth?
1. Allah created the earth first and then the heaven. Surah 2:29
2. Allah created the heaven first then the earth. Surah 79:27-30
What substance did Allah use to make mankind?
1. A blood clot. Surah 96:1-2

Will Christians go to

Is Jesus alive or dead?

Who is responsible for the choices mankind makes?
1. Mankind is responsible. Surah 18:29
2. Allah has predestined each person’s fate. Surah 17:13; 10:99-100
How many Gods?
1. The basic Moslem teaching is that there is only one god Allah.
2. Surah 50:38 states “We created the heavens and earth”. Who is the we?
How many wives can a Moslem have?
1. A man can have up to 4 wives. Surah 33:51
2. Muhammad had at least 11 wives.
